From Molecules to Mechanism: UGM Hosts Biotechnology Career Lecture with Dr. E. Prakash

The Master of Biotechnology Program at Universitas Gadjah Mada successfully held another session of the Biotechnology Career Lecture, reinforcing its commitment to broadening students’ global perspectives and strengthening international academic networks.

The event took place on Friday, 7 November 2025, from 09:00 to 10:00 WIB, in the Lecture Room, 3rd Floor, PAU Building, Graduate School of UGM. This session featured an international guest speaker, Dr. E. Prakash, Associate Vice President – Guidance Tamil Nadu, Taiwan Desk. Dr. Prakash is widely recognized for his extensive academic and professional engagement, particularly in bridging molecular science with the understanding of underlying biological mechanisms.

In his lecture titled “From Molecules to Mechanism”, Dr. Prakash highlighted how molecular-level insights can explain complex biological processes and how such approaches pave the way for innovation and research advancement in modern biotechnology. His presentation offered a global perspective on integrating fundamental science with emerging technologies to drive breakthroughs in biological and health-related research.

This activity provided students with an invaluable opportunity to deepen their understanding of molecular studies, explore current developments in biotechnology, and gain inspiration for pursuing international research careers.

Through this career lecture, the Master of Biotechnology Program at UGM reaffirms its commitment to nurturing highly competent graduates capable of contributing to scientific and technological progress at the global level.
