Yogyakarta, September 26, 2025 – The Master Program in Biotechnology, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), held a guest lecture entitled “Career in Biotechnology” featuring Dr. Desi Utami, S.P., M.Env., Ph.D. from the Department of Agricultural Microbiology, Faculty of Agriculture, UGM. The event took place on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM (WIB) at the 3rd Floor Lecture Room, PAU Biotechnology UGM.
Dr. Desi Utami, an alumna of the University of Queensland, Australia, has extensive research and academic experience in biotechnology and microbiology. In this session, she shared insights on her academic journey and highlighted various career opportunities in biotechnology, both in research and industry sectors.
This event aims to broaden students’ perspectives on the growing field of biotechnology and inspire the younger generation to contribute actively to research and innovation in Indonesia and beyond.
