The Research Center in Biotechnology in collaboration with the Study Program in Biotechnology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, was organizing a workshop entitled “Zero Coding: Bacteria Whole Genome Analysis Made Easy”. The event took place on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 09.00 to 12.00 WIB at the 3rd Floor Lecture Room, PAU Building, Universitas Gadjah Mada.
The workshop featured Jacob Wu, Global Business Manager of Genomics Biosci & Tech, who delivered a session on practical approaches to bacterial genome analysis that require no programming skills (zero coding).
This program aimed to introduce new, user-friendly methods of bacterial whole genome analysis accessible to a wide range of participants, including students, researchers, and professionals in the fields of biotechnology and life sciences. Through this workshop, participants are expected to gain both knowledge and practical skills in efficient genomic analysis that can support research and biotechnological applications.
By hosting this workshop, the Research Center and the Study Program in Biotechnology at UGM reaffirm their commitment to providing innovative and relevant academic activities that align with the latest advancements in genomics and biotechnology.
