The Master’s Program in Biotechnology at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) participated in the inaugural lecture and new student orientation organized by UGM Graduate School, held on September 15–16, 2025, at the Graduate School Auditorium.
The first day, Monday, September 15, 2025, began with a Public Lecture titled “Transformation Towards Indonesia with Excellent Human Resources” delivered by Prof. Dr. Ir. Djagal Wiseso Marseno, M.Agr., moderated by Prof. Dr. Sri Rum Giyarsih, S.Si., M.Si.
The agenda continued with academic facility introductions, including Library and Access Services presented by Safirotu Khoir, Ph.D. and Umi Sugiyanti, M.A., followed by the introduction of the Graduate Student Association (HMP) by Irham Dani. Students were also introduced to UGM Core Values by Prof. Ir. Panut Mulyono, M.Eng., D.Eng., IPU, ASEAN Eng., and received an Academic Orientation for Master’s Program delivered by Prof. Dr. Ir. Widyanto Dwi Nugroho, S.Hut., M.Agr., Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs, and Collaboration.
On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the program continued with several key sessions, including:

Mind Management for Learners by Dr. tech. Khabib Mustofa, S.Si., M.Kom.

Health Promoting University (HPU) and Prevention of Sexual Violence on Campus by Dr. Supriyati, S.Sos., M.Kes.

Introduction to Simaster and Elok by Prof. Dr. Tri Kuntoro Priyambodo.
Through this program, new students are expected to gain a deeper understanding of UGM’s core values, become familiar with the academic environment, and be better prepared to pursue their graduate studies with enthusiasm, integrity, and dedication.
